Having recently graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in American
Studies and Sociology, with a concentration in Critical Race and Ethnicity studies, Bella Stewart's work in and
out of the classroom has focused on equity, empathy, and building informed cultural sensitivity. As an experienced
Residential and Student Life leader and a graduate of a boarding high school, she has spent nearly a decade
building community in residential educational settings. Bella joins PRISMS as a dorm parent and a teaching fellow
for 10th grade American Literature, where she is learning the craft of teaching, managing a classroom, and
independent school leadership.
