Gwen Lee Bleckner, Ph.D. is a biochemist and immunologist specializing in
molecular biology research and hands-on science education. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University
of Missouri and an M.S. in Immunology from Seoul National University, and completed postdoctoral training in
medicinal chemistry at Yale University.
At the Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science (PRISMS), she teaches Molecular Biology and mentors student research in molecular biology and biochemistry. Her teaching emphasizes rigorous experimental skills, clear scientific reasoning, and curiosity-driven exploration. She has also taught at Penn State University and the Ranney School, and has experience as a USPTO-registered patent agent, as well as in scientific communication.
Outside the lab, she enjoys baking, cooking, classical piano, and art.
