Dr. Woska earned his
PhD in immune-pharmacology from St. John’s University under the mentorship of
Dr. Marc Gillespie. He then went on to the pharmaceutical industry working on auto-immune diseases,
immune-oncology and oncology for over 25 years leading several molecules into clinical trials. During his
time in pharma, he also taught as an adjunct professor at Monmouth University and the College of Mt.
Saint Vincent, teaching courses in pharmacology, human genetics, molecular and cellular biology, and
biology lab.
Dr. Woska also co-founded a program called “Partners in Science” that exposed area high school students and their teachers to the pharmaceutical industry with a series of lectures and tours of the pharma biology and chemistry laboratories.
