Position Overview:
The Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science (PRISMS) seeks a talented,
motivated, and intellectually curious Physics educator to join our faculty for the 2026-2027
school year. This position involves teaching AP Physics C and Modern Physics courses at an
advanced level.
The ideal candidate is a strong content expert and an engaging instructor who can cultivate
deep conceptual understanding, guide inquiry and lab-based learning, and support students in
developing advanced problem-solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:

Teach courses in AP Physics C and Modern Physics
- Design and implement rigorous, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the AP Physics
curriculum.
- Develop and supervise laboratory experiments and hands-on investigations
- Introduce and teach modern physics topics, including relativity, quantum mechanics,
atomic physics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics
- Support students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and interdisciplinary opportunities
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics or a closely related field (Master's or Ph.D.
preferred)
- A minimum of two years of high school (secondary) teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience teaching AP Physics C or equivalent advanced coursework
preferred.
- Strong background in experimental physics and familiarity with laboratory instruction.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working with highly motivated
students.
