Princeton International School for Mathematics and Science (PRISMS) seeks to hire a passionate, creative, and compassionate teacher of English to begin mid-August 2021. The position requires teaching five sections of college preparatory English.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in English or related field (master's preferred) and at least 3-6 years of classroom teaching experience at the high school level. The ideal candidate will also have experience teaching or the ability to teach history or other humanities electives. Familiarity with independent high schools is necessary, and boarding school experience is particularly helpful. Successful candidates will have an exceptional ability to develop and maintain positive and healthy relationships with a diverse range of adolescents. Job duties: Princeton International School of Mathematics and Science is interested in hiring a talented and inspiring Technology Education/Engineering teacher for courses in freshmen level Applied Engineering. Course subjects include basic technical drawing, CAD (AutoCAD & Onshape), C++ programming, Arduino, robotics, and manufacturing with 3D printers and CNC laser cutters.
Job requirement: At least a bachelor degree in Technology Education, Engineering, or foreign equivalent and a minimum 2 years of work experience as an Technology Education or Engineering teacher. Technology Education certification is preferred.
The new teacher will teach Honors Biology, AP Biology, Neuroscience (could be replaced by another elective course in biology), and research.
