This week, PRISMS launched its 10th anniversary school year with an exciting orientation program that began on Monday night with the boarding students enjoying s'mores around the school's new fire pit. Tuesday was full of information and fun, with sessions tailored for each grade level and a roll call for all faculty, students, and staff. Freshmen tackled a campus-wide scavenger hunt, after which they were welcomed to their intramural House teams. Tuesday concluded with the Opening Games of the house competition, followed by ice pops to help everyone beat the heat. The school marked the proper start of classes on Wednesday, and students celebrated with a visit from the ice cream truck at the end of the day. Thursday and Friday saw students settling into their routines: joining clubs, selecting athletic activities, and connecting with friends old and new. The week concluded with movie night in the dorm (including popcorn), and a handful of new students exploring the Princeton University campus. All in all, it was indeed a splendid, dynamic start to PRISMS' decennial year!
