How many teams per school?
Generally up to two teams; contact us at sciencebowl@prismsus.org if you plan to bring more.
What subjects are covered?
Mathematics, Life Science, Physical Science, Earth & Space Science, plus Engineering/CS/Research.
What is the Engr/CS topic?
Showcase PRISMS' unique programs and our students' ongoing research projects. No special preparation is needed—just bring your curiosity!
Is lunch provided at the event?
Yes! Lunch is included with your registration. Teams may also bring their own lunch. Dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
What should students bring?
All you need is enthusiasm! All competition materials will be provided. Note: Calculators are not allowed during both toss-ups/bonuses.
Can parents and guests attend?
Yes! Parents and supporters are welcome to observe and cheer on their teams throughout the day.
How do I make roster changes?
Contact us at sciencebowl@prismsus.org for any roster changes or special accommodations.
How can I prepare my team?
Review National Science Bowl/PSB 2025 questions and practice buzzer timing. Study across all subject areas for well-rounded preparation.
What awards are given?
Trophies for 1st-4th place teams, medals for 1st-3rd team members, and a Spirit Award recognizing sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
